2020 FSAA Crab Feed CANCELLED

March 12, 2020

Greetings alumni,

We hope this message finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe.

Due to the global Coronavirus pandemic, on March 10 Contra Costa Health Services recommended cancelling or postponing community events greater than 50 people. Because of this, the FSAA has decided to cancel the March 21 Crab Feed.

We are saddened to have to cancel. The Crab Feed is one of the FSAA's most popular events. But, due to the seasonality of crab, it is not possible to simply reschedule. We look forward to holding it again next year.

Thank you to everyone who had already purchased tickets. We will be issuing full refunds this week. If you purchased tickets from an FSAA board member or volunteer, please try to contact them or send us an email to arrange a refund. If you purchased tickets online, no action is necessary. You should automatically be issued a refund sometime this week.

The next scheduled FSAA event is the annual Picnic & BBQ on August 23. It is our hope, however, to hold a new event sometime before then. We do not yet know what that event may be but hopefully it will be possible to hold it sometime in late spring or early summer. If you have any suggestions we'd love to hear from you.

Thank you and please stay safe!
