DESCRIPTION OF OFFICE DUTIES (WRITTEN IN FSAA BYLAWS)

Section 4.11. Duties of the Association President

  • The Association President shall perform all duties incident to his or her office and such other duties as maybe required by law, or by these Bylaws, or which may be assigned to him or her from time to time by the members or by the Board.

 
Section 4.12. Duties of the Association Vice-President
  • In the absence of the Association President, or in the event of his or her inability or refusal to act, the Vice-President shall perform the duties of the Association President. The Association Vice-President shall perform such other duties as maybe required by law, these Bylaws, or which may be assigned to him or her from time to time by the members or by the Board.

 
Section 4.13. Duties of the Secretary
  • Maintains bylaws

  • Maintains records of minutes and agendas

  • Takes minutes at monthly board meeting

  • Prepares agenda for monthly alumni meeting

 
Section 4.14. Duties of the Treasurer
  • Has charge and custody of, and is responsible for, all the funds of the FSAA

  • Deposits all funds in the name of FSAA

  • Signs all checks promissory notes, order for the payment of money, etc.

  • Receives and gives receipt for money due and payable to FSAA

  • Disperse funds as directed by the board

  • Keep and maintains adequate and correct accounts of the FSAA’s properties and business transactions

 

 

APPOINTED POSITIONS (Not up for Election)

Events Co-Chairs (2 people)
  • Plan and coordinate all Events for FSAA, including but not limited to Summer Picnic, Halloween Party, Thanksgiving Dinner, Holiday Party, and Crab Feed

 
Website Administrator
  • Develop and maintain FSAA website and all content.

 
Newsletter Editor
  • Gather content and put together the monthly FSAA Newsletter.

 
Liaison
  • Acts as liaison between CFR Staff and FSAA

  • Keep board informed of the suggestions and concerns of these parties

  • Keep parties apprised of any activities, needs, or concerns of FSAA

 
Young People’s Liaison (2 people)
  • Acts as liaison between FSAA general population and FSAA Younger population. 

  • Keep board informed of the suggestions and concerns of these parties 

  • Keep parties apprised of any activities, needs, or concerns of FSAA 

  • Plan and coordinate YP Events 

 
 
Cake Person
  • Pick-up and bring cake to birthday meeting. Prepare and serve to Alumni Meeting attendees.
